its too intense, but here it goes. A psychologist (McGregor) at an elite East Coast university tries to prevent the suicide of one of his patients (Gosling), who keeps seeing dead people and successfully predicting the future. While investigating the case, he meets a woman (Watts) who claims to know the young man's mother.
