Although I prefer Donald's version, I can see where Timothy's had some merit, especially in the age appropriate category.
Lovely story, especially the part about Timothy still having the towel (and Donald knowing he still has the towel).

I was sure I'd commented on this story, but it looks like I didn't. Bad me.

When Don sets out to tell the truth he doesn't mess around, does he? :)

I can see Erica, years later, going through her daddies' things and finding Don's letter. She'll cry, but she'll smile, too, and remember how much she loved them.

Great story from an excellent author.
