Tonight I had my first Irish Singing class at the Old Town School of Folk Music.  Someone at Davenport's recommended the place to me, and it seems like a good way to meet people and pick up some elements of technique.  I haven't really had much in the way of formal instruction, so anything will probably help

Once you have Lark down, look up Patrick Street (group name)'s version of The King Of Ballyhooley. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Its a hoot to sing at a seisun.
