Just started reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. My parents got it for me for Christmas and I picked it up once or twice, but I havent been motived so much to actually complete a book. I just woke up from a dream where i was playing ultimate frisbee in strange conditions (muddy?), trying to organize teams and such. when i had to all of a sudden go to the bathroom. so i went to the public restroom and in a toilet stall there wasnt a toilet but a garbage can, where i found a note that someone wrote which was addressed to their mom ( Read more... )

These days, I choose progression in personal interests and passions over social functions. For the most part. I feel warm and toasty when I picture the future though.

Today made me realize how sick I am of college
and how sick I am with society
and the way that no one gives a shit about anything except commercial, materialistic crap.
I'll rise above this soon.
