I was expecting a package today in the mail. When it wasn't there, I came back to look at the tracking number. Delivered. Are you fucking kidding?! Hopefully one of my neighbors got it, and put it back in the mail so it will either go back to them, or come back to me ( Read more... )

It's the USPS. They've already closed. I'll see what happens tomorrow. Our mail guy is generally pretty good..

The USPS is sloppy at the best of times and downright horrible at the worst. Unfortunately all they usually tell you is "there's really nothing we can do". D:

Maybe someone was substituting for your delivery man today? Or it's possible that, since it was a package, someone else dropped it (ie, it didn't come with "the regular" mail). Also, check in obscure potential drop areas around the house... we've had stuff left without so much as a knock, and I've heard of people finding stuff hidden/in a bush/other side of a fence/etc.
