My Dad's company is starting to close shop, but he could be offered a job that would start this spring/summer. He said he would keep the job five years, then retire.

The thing's that, by the end of it, I'd have an accent just like his.

I saw that you had posted and I was like, "who's that?" I couldn't remember. And I was like, "I recognize that picture, but from where?" Then I remembered and I was like, "Ted?" and then my suspicions were confirmed when I looked at the comments and they said Ted. True story.

So in reading that more carefully, you said accent, not accident. Thus, accent? Ted, accent means other countries, accent like your dad's means Scotland.
