Well, I was all excited for my own cooked Thanksgiving Feast, since there as noone here to have thanksgiving with. I cooked a couple of turkey wings (Because I wanted dark meat and they didn't seem to sell Drumsticks at Walmart...), some mashed potatoes, corn, and some biscuts. That's rough, man. I won't try to give you words of encouragement, but I will give you a tool to a) make it better next time and b) impress the daylights out of any woman you meet.

Roast a chicken or game hen. Buy a bird, rinse it, take out the packet of giblets, pat the bird dry. Rub it with olive oil, veg. oil or butter, liberally salt and pepper it (or use some sort of seasoning salt) and rub that in. Put several cloves of garlic between the skin and the meat, all over the bird and a couple inside the body cavity. Quarter an onion and halve a carrot and put those in the body cavity. Cook it covered, breasts up, at 350 for 50 minutes, then uncovered for another 50 minutes. Take the carrot and onion out of the cavity and chuck 'em (they were there for a little flavor and moisture). You have a feast fit for a king. And your girlfriend/fiancee/wife will think you are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
