Oh hey, here's a top 10 list (of albums released in 2005):

It's mostly as I expected (in terms of recognizing stuff); I have Twin Cinema, though it hasn't set itself apart yet; I love Gimme Fiction (it would've been 11 on my list) and Get Behind Me Satan (which has the issue I have with most of what I've heard from the Stripes - I'm in love with half of the album).

I loved seeing Art Brut on your list, because I've been obsessed with what I have of that album lately (I have only half of it).

And then, of course, there's a bunch of stuff I've been meaning to get into (Dogs Die, Of Montreal, The Hold Steady), stuff I can't get into (M83, Depeche Mode), and stuff I've never heard (most of the rest).

Gives me stuff to look for though. Nice list.
