As the countdown to seeing my kids again counts down, I find myself confronting the separation and the way that the kids were treated at the time, and what I did, and what my ex-wife did. And I realise that a large part of my agenda is to prove to myself that I am not a monster ( Read more... )

Apparently I told my Dad I wanted to be rescued by a handsome prince on horseback ... so I could steal his pony.

My rehab counsellor is heavily involved in Dads in Distress. He's not much of a listener at times, which put me off the whole thing - group therapy tends not to be as supportive of unconventional views as we'd like to think.
