I hope that you heal soon, and that the bleeding stops; I don't know if it's something you should get checked out but I know when I had my gall bladder out I definitely wasn't oozing for that long (it's the only comparable experience that I have).

Thanks :)

I called the hospital, and they weren't terribly concerned, and this morning, I had a shower and it didn't sting, so I think the wounds are (finally) closed. The spots appearing on the pad now seem to be more to do with friction on scabs than anything else.

Well, I would hope the hospital knows what they're talking about!

Good vibes for continued good healing.

*applies coddling* I think that's a pretty scary thing to have to do on many levels and I think you're definitely allowed to want some TLC. Surgery of any kind is generally unpleasant and having it done to parts of your genitalia is not an easy idea to deal with let alone the physical recovery. So, have some *hugs* from me and I'd probably at least check with a doctor or nurse as to whether you should still be expecting bleeding at this stage.

Thanks :)

I did call the hospital. And it does seem to have stopped at last.

MMmmmm. Coddling :)
