LiveJournal support, oddly enough. I don't work for them any more. Even when I did, I didn't like it when people I didn't know asked questions in my journal, instead of using the support page.

Change "please click on this link" into something more descriptive, such as "please ask the question in LiveJournal Support" or "please submit a request to the support board".
Yeah, but then I wouldn't get the perverse pleasure of having them think they were going to talk to me. Then again, they might think they were being redirected somewhere icky. Yeah, OK, I label it better.
Never attempt to restrain a libergerbil in this way. As a liberated gerbil, it will undoubtedly find a way to get a hideous revenge and destroy your computer in the process.
Actually have a bit of a persistant problem...jerseycajunJune 21 2004, 21:09:14 UTC
Lately even if I clear my cache and wipe out all cookies, my recent entries page still hasn't updated since about mid-May. Same with my friends page. However, the archive page and all other pages related to my account do update.
It's a little bit annoying since it makes it a lot more difficult to see when people on my friends list update and to be able to view entries in my own LJ.
None of this prevents me from using LJ, just makes it harder to use. Any idea what the problem might be?

It could have something to do with a proxy cache being run by your ISP. Assuming that you use Internet Explorer, try holding down the alt key while pressing the Refresh button.

I'd probably have given you the same advice anyway, that being the most common solution to that problem, etc :)
If you have the ability to dial up to the internet with your computer, you might want to accept somebody's free trial offer, and see if changing ISPs fixes the problem.
But this kind of problem gets very quickly into the sort of territory where you ask people if they've considered sacrificing a goat to their computer at midnight.

Anything but the saying-nothing "click here".

Didn't work.
Suppose I should have said I already tried the stuff that was in the help section first.
Sorry :-)
Any other ideas? I'm stumped.
