LiveJournal support, oddly enough. I don't work for them any more. Even when I did, I didn't like it when people I didn't know asked questions in my journal, instead of using the support page.
Hello, this has nothing to do with the above entry. I just wanted to say hello to you. I am picking up my energy and have come through my depression without medication. Yay! I haven't had the werewithal to troll through all the entries that I have missed while not regularly accessing LJ. Also, not all entries are relevant to me - I don't feel I can make comments on more technical or game related IT stuff. But I am thinking of you and hope that you are well. Sending you love and light...... Jacqui

Sounds like you've had a bit of a time there. I hope things look up for you soon. In case you don't have email notification, I wanted to let you know that I was touched by your "ping" entry of last year. I'm not so certain that it is originally Malkavian though. . .

Amusingly, the people who replied to this post the most were support volunteers! But I started getting annoyed with being polite to people that had seen my name in howto and thought they'd jump the support queue. The irony being that the support board would have been quicker for them anyway...
And of course, before Unix, there's active sonar, which actually really makes a "PING!" sound :)
Email notification is on, if yours is on, you'll have some spam from me :)

Well, there hasn't been much to ignore! For one thing, it used to take me less than a week to respond to comments - I haven't dialled in during that time!
Of course, the problem with not posting for a long time is that you then have to acknowledge that fact somehow when you return, and provide updates. I'll try to do that today, but knowing me... :)
ever had a seemingly random friend show up on your LJ and it took you ages to work out why you know them? :) I'm terrible at names at the best of times and it took me a a fair few minutes of who was he in that game to work it out but I got there. :) And now I have added you too.

No, I remember that dance, it was good fun! And you were magnificent as Lividia, your evil smile is second to none. (And you gave Brutus the motivation he so sorely needed with the whole garden door bit.)
You were one of the well-dressed women that made the regency freeform something I'd play again, if only to perv admire the spectacle.

Lovely to hear from you, thanks for writing this :)
I had a bad fortnight, but it's clearing up - getting on to the net seems to have really helped, too.
I need to write about it, but I'm not sure I'm entirely ready to do that right now. The main point is, thanks for saying hi :)

Then this time I looked at the entry date for this post. Took a few seconds to figure out why and then the 'ohhh, THATS why' moment hit.
So I haven't been intentionally ignoring the stuff on your LJ, just being stupid as usual :-P
I'll check in a little more often now, heh...

You have the advantage over me then - all I know is that you're a Melbourne gamer who writes good LJ entries.

Besides you should never forget your mistress Lividia, then you would be out of a job Brutus.
And one day I might be less cryptic.
