It was the silence that finally got me to listen. I don't post often. I am more of a lurker. In fact, I have more comments than posts. That's because I used livejournal as a passive means of keeping up with my friends. All of them with livejournals anyway. I don't regret that my family all chose myspace instead. I don't think I could stand knowing

They're either moving out from where you are, or they started near where I am, too. All we heard was there was an 'Emergency Situation'. You know what that means for me. At least I've got power, water, and some measure of protection. They're running us ragged at work. What I'm worried about--what I'm really worried about--is refugees trying to get into this safe haven. I've...heard some things, but I really can't say any more about it. I think those of us who can make it through the next few weeks will be okay. That is, if the responders manage to get their plans together and act quickly enough. I have to go. More work to do.

Got a pile of zombie corpses around here. The police station nearby is helpfull in holding them off. Seems the katana I have works fine at chopping up zombies. That's what they get for interupting my Tenchu Z game.
