why do people always put their significant others ((SO)) b4 the friends they've known forever? is it because they kno that their SO wont be there forever and their friends will?

if so, why do friends let their friends w/ SOs take advantage of them like that?

i see it as being taken advantage if the friend is shoved aside all the time for the SO. but then the SO is gone, the friends are allowed to hang out w/ their friend again. but the SO never gets shoved aside for the friends
