Yay! I hope the cooking continues to go well! I have a major food phobia of Tofu! My manager brought some Tofu noodles in last week and wanted to share them with me and I just looked at them in fear! I think I offended him!!!
Anyway, I was just cooking some soup myself this morning and was wondering about the availability of different produce over the pond.. Like I'm pretty sure you have twice as much stuff as we do, but what about stuff like Lamb and Leeks, things which I consider to be very very british, and very available here. Are they readily available over there?
Yes, Leeks are available. Lamb is as well, but is major buckage. Tofu is an aquired taste, but does absorb the flavors of whatever it is in. The firmer the tofu, the better (in my humble opinion.)
