I just sat buzz sawing through the insane amount of goodies in the comm, and now want to join so I can get at all the rest of the timelines and goodies.

I'm torn though. I would probably love to play Ford, but I'm sitting and playing with an OC that may or may not work. He's serious now, but he's based off of a not so serious idea.

I'll post what I have as an OC scientist idea in a second post. It probably sounds like an idea worth trying mainly because I've worked 2 double shifts in 2 days and am running on fumes and Jolt cola.

I post it seperately so a Mod such as yourself can blast it apart seperate from me asking if Aiden is available. :D

I was reading through all the wiki and background info when I was gnawed on by a plot bunny I'd had a while back. It was about an OC-male, but he is odd, and the only way I could introduce him would be with consent of the player behind Jack, and the approval of pretty much any Mods and maybe the whole freakin Comm. coughThe entire idea behind him is that, Calvin and Hobbes was all about an ATA kid who activated an Ancient ascension assisting mental exercise tool when he was 5. It made his imagination able to physically manifest once in a while, but was not strong enough to do so on any large scale, or for long, loosing power within 4 years of use ( ... )

Though uhm, consent with Jack would be if we went with Jack being his in to the SGC, maybe Chuck? or someone else? Or I'll just go work on something semi-productive like a Ford centered layout. snerk

Edit: Also? Uh forgot to say, Pendant was found in Hobbes stuffing when he unstuffed and re-stuffed when Calvin was 9. It probably got wedged there when Calvin jumped on him after springing his "Tiger Trap" in the first comics.

And no, Calvin isn't in any relationships. Suzie broke up with him a bit before the Soda shop, and he's just not that interested in a casual fling-thing.

Sleep Dep posting. Why you never try to be artistically productive on Jolt Cola! AKA It will seem like a terrible Idea on Tuesday once I've slept for 12 hours.

Hey Tamda,

it's been a couple of busy days so I only got around today to reply to your post, I'm sorry.

There happened a lot in the game since we last looked for players. (:

We had some problems with new players who joined with made up characters and left after too short a time, leaving us to deal with the chars they introduced. So we are a bit hesitant to accept new placers who bring in new, non-canon chars.

Ford, however, would be available. Only... at the moment he is running from the Wraith. He was, along with some others, captured by the Wraith as they overrun Atlantis early on in our game. Now, on day 53 of the mission, a recon team managed to invade the Wraith facility and free some prisoners. Bates and some others stayed behind to win the team and the prisoners some time, fighting the Wraith.

The team went to the puddle jumper they brought, and some might have escaped to the gate on the planet.
