"Lol" needs to be stricken from the english speaking (and typing) vernacular -- NOW!

Millions (Boyle, 2005): 7/10
The Piano Teacher (Haneke, 2002): 8/10I'm really fed up with the ubiquitous 'lol'. Seriously -- I don't even want to begin a rant about it. It's evilness should be apparent already. I'm pretty sensitive to all AIM acronyms for laughing. "Rofl" is no different. However, instead of me pronouncing it in my head like the first half of lollypop ("loll"), the voice in my head says it like a type of potato chip with ridges.

I have been known to use LOL on occasion I must admit. I've never quite sunk to ROFL or LMAO though.
