Oh, sweet Lord. Off work and packing tomorrow, like crazy-face, as only about 20% (okay, maybe more like 30%, but not a lot) of my apartment is currently packed. Daniel gets in Saturday morning. U-Haul. Lots of driving. Durham sometime Sunday. Interview Monday. Return to Boston Monday night, late ( Read more... )

*breathe* you'll be fine. you'll be packed. everything always miraculously gets done even if you don't know how it happens. remember it's just like all the times you moved out in college... except i feel like this is probably more exciting! :)

good luck with all of it! and remember to have some fun in the middle too.

get some tunes going and it will practically all pack itself. okay, that's a lie, moving sucks.

but you must be excited!

things to remember to have on first day in new apartment: trashbags, toilet paper, utility knife, paper towels, shower liner and rings, at least one lamp, water and beer. the essentials of life, really.

Moving SUCKS -- I did it myself last weekend -- but it rocks pretty hard when it's all done and you're in a new place and feel as happy as a clam. You'll forget, sure. But them you'll remember.:)
