Yesterday was not a good day. I had to go in to work at 8 and work till 3. Why I had to work till 3, I don't know. I love how my manager lets other bussers that come in at 8 leave at 2, but no, not me! I've mentioned to my mom that I want to quit the job, but she won't let me. I hate it. Maybe your manager thinks you are a better busser than the other ones and maybe that's why he wants you to stay longer. Just think of it as a compliment. And as far as the wage per hour, you do still get tips, don't you? So that would be added to the wage per hour.

I hope she was just joking about not buying you stuff. But maybe she figures you have a job now so.... Oh I don't know.... o_O
