please tell me you've gotten through to your brother and he is open to gay marraige now. i remember once I had about a 4 hour fight with him and pretty much never wanted to talk to him again about gay marraige.

uhm, not at all. we get into fights over the subject all the time. he considers homosexuality a "social disease". it's hard to believe that him and i come from the same family. i know exactly how you must have felt. >:(

yeah, he told me "it's just not right because we (meaning society) haven't been doing it for the past hundred years" and I said, "oh so was women's voting rights not right either then?" silence.....

ugh! sorry you have to deal with that. Maybe if you hit him over the head like in the wizard of oz, he'll wake up with a different outlook on life.
