My dad called me on Friday, asking for my advice.

His stepson, Chad, who is 15, broke into another kid's house and stole a half pound of weed. The kid called the cops on Chad, and my dad's house got raided. My mother fell in love with another man when I was 12, and started sleeping in my younger brother's room. Then my younger brother slept in my room, and my dad slept alone. It was awful. Then she moved out, and I slept in my dad's bed, and my brother slept on the floor. We were trying to keep him company. Then he suddenly went from depressed to insane and became abusive towards us, as a way to lash out his anger. Something similar happened with us when we managed to get my grandmother to "take us out to dinner to visit" (my mom's mother), and tell her all that had been going on. wow. it's amazing, ya know. you haven't mentioned Katrina in a lonnnng time (as far as i can remember), so it's weird to think of you as that same girl. you have done so much since those days. wow. i totally forgot.

i'm sorry about all the bs that is going on :/ here's hoping things get better and fast. you don't need all this stress when you have a beautiful little evergreen tree fruit (i webstered it) to take care of :)

Yeah Im actually pretty surprised myself that they've lasted this long (my dad and Katrina). I cant remember the last time I wrote about them...its amazing you remembered!

its so crazy to think where you would be now if you and your brother didnt come up with the courage to do what you guys did while you were at my house. It seems to long ago at the same time to think when you guys lived at my house. GAH! i freakin love you! Look at us now! wait! look at you now! a mom! how wonderful! mine is almost a year old and i feel like ive always had her..its so crazy i keep thinkin what on earth did i do before i had her! i miss your face and i hope everything gets better lovely.

I'd probably be angry at the world and depressed. You have no clue how much you and your dad saved us. I mean, you might have a clue, but I dont know if we ever told you. I always think of that day as the best day of my life (December 21, 2001), and its seriously all thanks to you guys.

You need to move up here to Nashville. Reid Buck did. I had coffee with him this morning! How crazy is that?!

im planning a vacation to TN actually next year! YAY! was thinking of doin it over christmas vacation but we decided on camping...so which is gonna be excitng! around may or june or maybe even spring break is when i plan on the TN trip.

you are one beauitful mom by the way! and Olive is gorgeous! Rylie is almost one now!! AHH its so scary! seriously! i constantly think to myself what in the world did i do before i had her.
