So, I got a CD discman, joggerman, whatever thingy for Xmas, and it is my first very own personal stereo in I don't know how many years. I am so infatuated with it, I find it hard to cease listening to music day in and day out. Seriously. Ask her, realistically, what the deal is with this guy. If he's going to continue to be in the picture, there's a reason for it.

I, for one, was in an almost five year relationship that just ended this year. So it does happen. But if there's no breakup in sight, its unending torture for you as you pine away for her. Don't let it happen, brother. Good luck meeting up with her. Give yourself time to process everything once you've seen her.

Listen to me, I'm Dear Abby all of a sudden. Don't forget to have fun too.

thanks abby! I am definitely listening to and trying to make use of your advice. And I definitely know that 5 year long relationships do happen, but I am just a little upset about it (you can understand). I'll update the situ in my next post.

...that five year relationships DO end sometimes. So if there's hope to be had that she'll end her relationship, continue to invest the emotional energy. But be realistic too, cause if she's not being honest with you (or, for that matter, with herself) then I can imagine dealings will get a little sticky.
