Yesterday I was home alone, so I watched "My Summer Of Love".

Okay, considering the state I've been in for the last few days, I should have probably picked a 'lighter' movie, but it was definitely worth 2 hours of my time.

I especially loved the location, the atmosphere (which, for some reason, made me think of Truffaut's "Les 400 Coups" and what little I've seen of "Jules et Jim). And I think both Natalie Press and Emily Blunt (who looks extremely familiar but I can't for the life of me remember if and where I've seen her!) did a terrific job. I may have liked it even better than "Lost & Delirious". Now my question is: are there any non-angsty 'lesbian movies' out there?! LOL

Did I ever mention I love Ebay?! Seriously, I've sold a newspaper with Gale on the cover and 4 "Dawson's Creek" book(let)s in two days! YAY!

Speaking of selling and buying, this morning I went to the Post Office to collect the 3 packages my adorable postman gave me 'alerts' for last Saturday and I got:

- "Brokeback Mountain: Story to Screenplay", supposedly for my thesis, but I'm not really sure about that anymore. *sighs* Ok, let's sooo not go there..

- The "Starsky & Hutch" books #2 and #3. Now I'm only missing #1, #7 and #8.

- The 1979 "Starsky & Hutch" Annual. =D

And I'll be with my fiore_di_fuoco in less than 2 days!! OMG, I can't believe it.

movies, my summer of love, rambles
