Like I said I probably would a few weeks ago, I'm back from my LJ hiatus, though it's only to post a picture of my babies and for a very practical reason: stuff I'd like to get rid of.
With the thesis I have to write and now the whole Kevin-leaving-BSB thing, I feel even less like updating my LJ. =(
Here are my puppy - yes, he's actually a puppy, he's 3 months, even though he looks like a bull and weighs even more! - Tony (whose name I hate but I had to let my parents choose it) and my kitten Virginia (whose gorgeous name I chose, thankyouverymuch), who's 2 and a half months and is currently recovering *knocks on wood* from a bad bad bad case of bronchitis that turned me into a nurse from Sunday night until last night and gave us all one hell of a scare. *wipes tears away*
And now some stuff I'd like to either sell (shipping/handling to Italy/Europe is included in the price you see next to each item, CD jewelcases excluded) to pay for books I need for my thesis or trade for anything about BSB/"Starsky & Hutch"/"Friends"/"Queer As Folk"/"Grey's Anatomy" that I don't have or other books/CDs I'd like to have. Feel free to either leave a comment or e-mail me at unitedwerunstoppable@gmail.com for further info, pictures, currency convertions etc. Also, does anyone know of a sort of marker site to sell stuff that isn't Ebay/Amazon and which doesn't entail auctioning items? A LJ community would be great, too. Thanks.

And here are the official statements about the whole Kevin débacle for those of you who are curious about it:
Statement to our fans from the Backstreet Boys regarding Kevin Richardson departure from the group:
“Earlier this year, after much soul searching, Kevin Richardson came to us and told us that he had decided to leave the group and pursue other interests. He gave his blessing to continue the music without him.
We have no intention of replacing Kevin, and the door will always be open for him to return to the Backstreet Boys. We wish him the all the best in his future endeavors.
This weekend we are returning to the studio to begin the follow-up to Never Gone, and will see you later this year with a new album.”
Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean
Statement from Kevin Richardson
“After 13 years of what can only be described as a dream come true, I have decided that it is time to leave the Backstreet Boys. It was a very tough decision for me but one that was necessary in order to move on with the next chapter of my life. Howard, Brian, Alex and Nick will always be my little brothers and have my utmost love and support. I would like to thank the Backstreet fans for all the beautiful memories we have shared together and look forward to including you in the next phase of my life. I wish my brothers continued success and look forward to their new album.”
