Okay, I just had to share this. I read your post on mock_the_stupid about how soemone had asked if you and your partner were sisters simply because you both have the name Nicole.

Dumb enough, of course, but not half as dumb as my thoughts upon reading your post. Even though the person in question asked if you were both *sisters* my brain still read "wife" and immediately thought "huh, some guy named Nicole. Wierd."

When I realized my own error I did my own headsmack.

Congrats on your marriage. May you and your partner have a long and happy life together.

Btw, you're only a few months older than my wife Ronya. We've been happily married for nearly 11 years now and will be celebrating our next anniversary on July 2nd, just a few days short of your birthday. I don't know if there's any connection, but heck take it as a good omen or something anyway.

Thank you very much. :) We were married legally in August of last year and it feels very good to be able to do so.

My first marriage anniversary was on July 10th so I'm only going to hold yours as a good omen because it was before my birthday and not after. yay for 11 years!

I looked at your "All About Me" and it sounds like we've got an awful lot in common :) I, too, live in an animal kingdom - bunnies, gerbils, guinea pig, and two dogs, one of whom is a boston terrier, and the love of my life :) I'm an activist of equal rights, and, while I'm straight, an active member of the gay scene. My friends like to call me their "fruit fly" :) I'm also a huge animal lover, and rights activist. I, too, talk a lot, am very honest, and can be a total bitch. Tough shit.
And America is going down the tubes - GWB is terrible, and my biggest enemy.
