Hmmm...I started at my current job Sept 29th (this year will be my 6th anniversary with this company - by far the longest I ever worked at any one company or attended at any one place, including at any school). What's in Slovenia that they would have a conference there?

To be honest, I have no idea why precisely the conference chose Slovenia to be its venue this year. Usually some local university volunteers to handle the local arrangements or something.
