Today A Girl said something to me that Made me think. And i love it when people say things to me that make me think. Not like stuiped History where Jeremy Talks about old white rich people or dumb math, but about others and how it reflects on people. Rachel Garber said that being nice is nothing, that its garbage. people shouldnt be nice just so they like them. People should be nice to other people to make the other people feel better, not just yourself. its important to be speacial and not just blend in with the crowd, but being nice has nothin to do with that, in my opinion. i think people should be nice to others to make the other person feel good. a simple smile can make someone's day a lot better, it makes my day better when someone smiles and says hello. i also think it is important to be approachable. Some people are asses and they dont deserve respect, but that doesnt mean we have to treat them like shit. and everyone else shouldnt not get respect just because a few people suck. i like and respect the people who treat everyone with respect, even if they dont know the person. there some people who i barely ever talk to but i can still go up and say hello, and that feels good. i think being nice to people is extremely important and valuable. I look back and like the people who r nice to me, not the people who did something ( ... )

but also: being nice isn't always boring. a lot of people can be "nice", just by acting polite. but doing nice things for people, like sticking up for them, saving their butt from trouble, giving them a place to stay when they have nowhere to go, protecting them, making them feel better when they're down... that's not boring at all. "nice" can mean a thousand things. yes, it's true that anyone can be nice by giving compliments and getting on someone's good side, but not everyone can be truly "nice". and maybe not everyone will care that you're nice, but SOMEone will be effected by it. just some food for thought... take care :)
