S3Ep03 Let The Seller Beware
This week we're returning to one of the flirtiest seasons. There are many memorable moments between Nick and Greg in Season 3, although this particular episode is probably best remembered for individual appearances. Because this is the one in which both of them undress! Sadly they are not together when they do this, but they do talk to each other about the case in between, which means this episode totally qualifies as a classic! And in addition to their scene together, we're treating y'all to STRIP FORENSICS!
Okay, so chronologically Nick takes off his clothes first, but we're afraid you'll forget to pay attention to the rest of the episode if we start with that scene, so we're saving the best for last, mkay? We'll research the subtext between Nick and Greg first. DO NOT SKIP THAT SCENE, IT WILL BE ON THE TEST! :-p

GRISSOM: Cal Newman wore size tens. So assuming our killer wore the size twelve ...
NICK: He may have transferred mildew from the pool to the house.

GREG: Normally I don't like to speak ill of the dead but, uh, Mr. Newman's sperm had company. Bad company.

GREG: Look at D-7. Three alleles.
GRISSOM: Genetics only gives you one from each parent.
GREG: Which can only mean one thing -- menage d'allele.

NICK: {*puts finger up in the air: I know, I know!!} She was cheating on her husband.

GRISSOM: What about stutter?
GREG: Percentage is too high. We're looking at a minor and a major sample.

GRISSOM: Minor donor?
GREG: The husband.

GRISSOM: Major donor?
NICK: Pool man.

GREG: Nope.

NICK: The broker?

GREG: Ibid. Major donor is still unaccounted for.
The end.
So what's with that look Greg gives Nick at #07? Nick seems confused about it too. It feels like they are having a different conversation. Any thoughts?

GREG: You infected me with mildew?

Heehee. Seems like both Nick and Greg have a reason to bitch about Grissom, surely this is a bonding experience? So who whined more on their next date / when they got home (depending on your fandom timeline;) - Nick for having to deal with a DB in a cloudy pool, or Greg for being infected with mildew? Discuss!
(Oh fine, you may also talk about their uncovered bodyparts. *giggles*)
