Leaving on a jet plane...

So, this is probably gonna be my last post for AWHILE. I leave for Rhode Island tomorrow bright and early at 9:45 am, and arrive at Providence at 9:35 pm. That is actually fifteen hours, not nine. Obviously it wasn't my strong math skills that got me into UC Santa Cruz. I have TWO layovers along the way. That is just lame. I get to stop in ( Read more... )

How is that fifteen hours? If you leave here at 9:45 that would be 12:45 pm there, and 12 to 9 is nine hours.

12 hours, plus 3 hour time difference is 15. eastern standard time adds 3 hours to PST.

you don't add those hours to the eastern time, though, you add only if you're converting our timezone to the eastern. he leaves at 9:45 am PST and arrives at 6:35 pm PST, alternately he leaves at 12:45 pm EST and arrives at 9:35 pm EST. he really didn't get into UCSC for his strong math skills. it's totally unreasonable to take fifteen hours to get across the country. in that time you can make it to western europe.

Whoa, A+...I'm jealous. I didn't even get an A+ in that class. Maybe it was my lack of conversation. Oh yeah. I got an A in Bob Dylan. I wasn't expecting that one. Have fun in Rhode Island and drink a 40 for me.
