I got a $40 ticket for a parking violation in Long Beach. I'm not a serial parking law violater...this was my virgin run in with the powers that be of parking. Well what do you really mean by "No parking between the hours of 10pm and 8am"...if they weren't so vague, maybe I wouldn't have to pay this ticket

What yourself in downtown San Diego. I once got a parking ticket for parking too far away from the curb- they even broke out a measuring tape to be certain!

Wow..that's a bit overkill. I mean, they should be out chasing j-walkers, not parking violaters. Let's prioritize. :O)
