I'm currently drinking a HRM Rex-Goliath! Cabernet Sauvignon. It's from California. Honestly, I bought it as the label was outrageous. It has a big rooster on it and says, "free range." I went to grocery shopping today, and I got a random wine. It's a Tempranillo from Spain for under $6. This could be a good find. If this is bad, I'll give it to a room mate.

Currently drinking: Bodega Septima, 2005 Malbec, from Argentina.

I had never had a Malbec before, and this was another one the mystery bottles. This is a harsh dry red wine. It's a little too harsh for just drinking without food, but I still like it. It's better than a round of beer pong.

I tried a Griffin Creek 2002 Cab Sav. It was from my room mate Pat's mom. It's from Oregon. It was his Xmas present.

It was okay. There wasn't too much flavor, and it was a little weak.

This is another mystery wine. It is a 2005 Cab Sav from Santos Beck and is from Uco Valley in Mendoza. This particular wine is very very bitter and very heavy. It's one of the heaviest wines that I have tried. The taste tends to stay in my mouth even after I drink it. However, the alcohol does not overpower the taste.
