Don't anybody freak out, but I'm in the process of obtaining a quite healthy recipe.

I won't give away too much, but chickpeas, spinach and garam masala are involved.

Quick update on previous post: the pie was amazing. I just made a big minestrone with bacon in it, which I fed to my erstwhile vegetarian housemate in order that she might profit and be made to coalesce from its salubrious properties. And I froze some so I can have it during the week.

A pie is an accumulation of flour, butter spices and fruit that is so much more than the sum of its parts it's ridiculous.

This is a pumkin soup I've cooked a couple of times. The thing that makes pumpkin soup a handy recipe to know is that it doesn't requite lots of spices or complicated ingredients. In addition, it suits most people's tastes. This one has a bit of a twist, in that it uses green curry paste and coconut cream.
