Well, I'm about to be unemployed--for two irritating weeks, after which I can work for another several weeks, followed by another period of unemployment and then one final burst of gainful work before my temporary job pretty much expires until next spring. Only it turns out that I'd only be making about two hundred dollars a week on unemployment, and it would take the State of Texas three to four weeks to figure out whether they should give me that money or not
