I did that song writing thing again...

I'm rather proud of this one, and since I don't sing, and it's not really Outcast appropriate (well, certainly not in the Hinterlands), I thought I'd put this out here  -  I am thinking smallstoat might like it, given her LJ descriptiony thingimybob wotsit bit...

You walked in to the battle

Like you were walking into the bar

Your helmet casually hanging from your belt

Your weapon a morning star

You keep your shield highly polished

So you can watch how cool you are

And all you guys think that you’ll live for ever,

You’ll live for ever but…

You’re so slain

I bet you think this hammer won't clout you

You’re so slain

You probably think this song’s not about you

Don’t you? Don’t you?

You met up several hours ago

When you were still beer-free

Well you said let's go out and pick a fight

And we'll win heroically

But you didn't see the zombie hoard

As you pissed behind that tree

You had some mates, but not one of them healers

None of them healers and

You’re so slain

I bet you think that zombies can't rout you

You’re so slain

You probably think this song’s not about you

Don’t you? Don’t you?

(Bridge)

You had some mates, but not one of them healers

None of them healers and

You’re so slain

I bet you thought that no one would doubt you

You’re so slain

You probably think this song’s not about you

Don’t you? Don’t you?

Well, I hear you went up against dozens of thugs

And of course naturally won

Then you pushed your spear up in a necromancer

To where there is no shining sun

Well your tales get taller every time

But when you lose you'll bleed

Red just like they do, and you'll call for your mother

Cry out for mummy.

You’re so slain

I bet you think this song's not about you

You’re so slain

You probably think this song’s not about you

Don’t you? Don’t you?
