Every morning Alice thought of him. Beautiful, strong and perfect. She thought of him as every mother would think of her son. She didn't know where he lived - yes, she let him live, going against everything she should believe in considering her profession, but it was not important at that time. He was seventeen now and she hoped happy. A bright future just waiting to make him even happier.
In the evenings, she could only think of the children that she had never allowed to live. She killed them, for it hurt too much to let them live and leave.
