Interesting thing about Lent that hadn't occurred to me before it was pointed out: The purpose of the ban on milk and eggs is to allow new born animals an uninterrupted supply of their mother's milk in the first few weeks and to enable a good number of chicks to be born to provide poultry for next year.
I haven't been able to do much at combat practice for the last few weeks due to the joy of infected wounds, but this week I did manage to do more and had a good session

So today I finish up taking anti-inflamatories, and I finished the antibiotics last week. Post-operative infection seems to have cleared up. ( icky details )
