Most of these are absolutely true, I haven othing to add. Well, the guy "speaking in tongues" is totally unfamiliar to me, but maybe you get that a lot in America? I'm glad I don't live in America. The whole dialogue of different religious (or a-religious) people is so aggressive and radical there.

Even when I was five, I wondered what a mean bastard that god guy was, killing all the first-born Egyptian boys just to punish their parents.

I've never seen anyone speaking in tongues but was told be first-hand witnesses that in some churches around here, people fall over and start babbling incoherently. - There are so many uneducated and gullible people in the US, especially in the so-called Bible belt (mostly in the South), that it scares the heck out of me at times.

For all critical Christians out there, I highly recommend Uta Ranke-Heinemann's book "Putting Away Childish Things" ("Nein und Amen" in German). Excellent reckoning with the Catholic Church!
