indeed. i've always maintained that race/nationality really isn't a big deal for me when it comes to making friends. i've always gone along with people who i can just have a good time with. i mean look at today - there were 2 chinamen, 2 indians, a malaysian and a eurasian at the pub. i think it is ridiculous when people go to college thousands of miles away wanting to uphold a way of life and a circle of people. nowhere can the benefit of having an open mind be better illustrated eh.
