Yesterday I got The Letter from A&M. I am so excited to be accepted; now I can finalize all of my plans for this fall. I applied for housing today and I am really anxious about college now. I love A&M a lot; I cannot wait to get there ( Read more... )

Seconded. 4th term trumps all. I'm probably missing Squirrel Camp (the Vandy equivalent of Fish Camp, FYI) for Longhorn, so yeah. Tell your mom it's all about the sacrifices one has to make. It's for the kids, man! Children are our future!

Hahah I'm pretty sure I told my Mom, through tears, that closing day (I don't know if that's what Longhorn calls the day parents pick up campers) is about the kids, not our bonding experience, and it's important for the parents to be able to meet you on closing day so she wouldn't make me leave camp early. What a sucker. No really, I think closing day is probably one of the most important days of a term.
