So. Italian exam today. That was quite honestly the best exam I have ever had. We all came out of going, "Wasn't it great?" and "How good was the listening?!" And now there's just Ancient History on Tuesday, and Italian Extension on Wednesday. But there are still 6 days before that. And after it, nothing. Amanda and I have decided to get completely ( Read more... )

I couldn't find anyone talking about it, except for that one person who said they thought it was fantastic. Where was it?

Oh man, did you see that one girl wrote 6 pages?! I wrote one a half each for the writing ones, and two for the responding, and I stopped because I didn't want to do like double the word limit! But if other people did 6...That is so unfair!

Why are you just so similar to me?! What other subjects do you do?

It was...okay. Not fantastic. We had learnt all that stuff like drugs, and the group and peer pressure really really well, but the choices we had were internet & mobile phones, or teenagers using external appearances to show their personality. So I was like, Umm...Right. But as long as you have sophisticated language it's fine, I think.

Are you going to study the movie, or the book? I did the movie, if you're doing it too I could send some notes if you'd like? The worst thing about extension was the monologues...Oh man, I was so worried about them, but when I did the exam it just kind of fell together, all that practice I'd done.

Anyway, there's a lot to it and all, so if you want to know just ask!

yeah, this is kinda scary...well anyway, i also do:
adv english
2u maths
textiles and design
french beginners
infomation technology; along with
italian continuers and extension.

i was a bit surprised to read that you were also doing ext...i was thinking "okay shes got the same name as me, and doing the same subject; this is weird" do you have any italian in you?

we're studying the movie Jack Frusciante e` uscito dal gruppo. even if you dont really know the topic, if you can back it up and everything, shouldn't aht be alright? cos theyre testing you on how well you can support a viewpoint, as ive understood it to be...

one of my friends who did ext as well, said it wouldnt be too painful as long as youre good at english...then again she liked the monologues. ohs has sent me the transcript of the movie and some notes, but if i add you then you can see my email. im not into the habit of posting it on the www. :D

Okay then, the only other ones we have in common are Maths and English.

Nope, not Italian. Why, are you?

Yeah, I think that's basically it. So that's why it wasn't horrible.

That's true too, though annoying since I detest English...I've just done some segment analysis things, and I've found the lyrics to a few of the songs in the movie (it took forever, they are so unknown). They asked about songs in the ILTA trial exam, so it's good to know them, and I talked about them in the HSC as well, it just shows all round knowledge of the movie, I guess. I'll send them now!

Unfortunately though, I don't have much else on the computer, it's mainly written notes, so I can't really help more! Sorry!
