Alright, this week I'm losing my current job. That would be OK if the timing didn't suck hosewater! I'd prefer a couple more weeks so that then, I could ride the severance pay all the way through the month of October, but now I think it'll only cover me till just shy of the wedding day. Urk

Aw, hon! I was feeling the gas crunch pretty badly too, over the last couple months. What's really irritating is the way it's upped the costs of everything, not just driving. But since you ARE getting married, take heart from the fact that you save something like 40% of your living expenses by living two-in-a-place (electricity, water, & food go up, but rent, heat, phone lines, internet, & cable stay pretty close to the same), so things ought to get easier soon.

I had a bad sensor in my car cost me a mere $50, once (about the only time I ever got out of a repair shop for under $200), so here's hoping!
