Operation Spring cleaning

An hour and a half in and I've managed to get a bag of rubbish out of my bedroom, I'm on my third load of washing (with heaps to follow - the laundry hamper is as high as my waist), and I've got a massive pile of books in the middle of the living room to sort out when I get to there

It's funny, we're cleaning as well. We hardly ever do spring cleaning- we actually do all our scrubbing in the fall, because there is nothing worse than being locked up in a grubby house for five months with no hope of opening the windows. :P

Yeah, I have a minor spring clean in the autumn as well, but the major cleaning is done at this time of the year. Mainly because it's getting to be visitor time again - I have visitors coming for the long weekend in 2 weeks' time and there's no way I can let them see the place as it was.
