i got switched into general psychology from sprituality & values in healthcare. i was reading the chapters for class and it said something veryyyy interesting to me. it said that people dont often laugh when they are alone. that they need to be in a social environment to be more apt to laughing out loud. when i read that comment, it honestly made ( Read more... )

That's interesting but how is it useful? Anyway, I laugh aloud when I'm watching TV alone all the time. Or when I think of how funny lookin' you are.

I laugh alone, but not nearly as much when I'm with other people so I agree with that somewhat.

Yeah I think it's just saying that people are more likely to laugh out loud more when in a social setting than alone. I think that makes sense. I laugh the hardest when I am actually with people. I've never really just laughed and not been able to stop when I was completely alone. I've laughed like that about an IM, but it's still immediate communications.
