Well, what did I do this weekend? Hmmm...Friday started out to be a good day. Got to the language lab at my German school and worked for 3 1/2 hours. :) Then did a little shopping. Really needed a new winter hat. Olivia and I decided that the one I got last year was really dorky looking on me. Which is funny, because it looked fine last year. I

Just wanted to say hello and tell you how much we enjoyed having your family visit us for Thanksgiving. I'm so sorry to read that you've been ill and pray you're all recovered now and will remain in excellent health!
There's a definite lack of snow and/or rain around here lately, and it's very nice weather out, but strange to not feel like winter's here when it's almost December.
Do they have a volkhochschule in your town? Or at least I think that's what they are called in Germany. When we lived in Bamberg, I visited one and really enjoyed the various arts displayed from the various classes. Knowing about it played a part in my taking the courage to ask every German woman I met if she knit and if she'd help me with my knitting. I think about 5 German women ended up tutoring me at various stages on knitting projects. It was wonderful having so many talented advisors!

Yes, there is a Volkhochschule just down the street from me. I might even be taking my next level of German classes there and I am definitely looking into the other classes, as well. :)
Well, enjoy the nice weather for me, lol. We're going to get down to 24 F tonight. Brr!!
I can't wait to meet you and your family when I get back this summer! Sounds like we are kindred spirits!
