Kyungju City. Kyungju was the capital of Korea during the Silla dynasty.  The first stop was a hand craft folk village.  Lots of places to buy pottery and other neat stuff.

The first stop on our field trip was POSCO or Pohang Steel Corporation.  It was kind of cool. We got to see the hot slab press.  We were probably a good 200 to 300 feet away and one story above the hot steel and we could still feel the heat. It was very hot in there.

Sorry i haven't updated in so long. soon i will be posting pictures of the field trip we had this weekend and of the mini olympics that took place 3 weeks ago. i hope to maybe do that tonight; well at lest some of them should get posted tonight.

After leaving the sauna. (You usally spend the night.  There is a room just for sleeping.  When I get back I will explain.)  We were going to go to the Tower of Daegu and an amusement park but it was raining.  So we went to a movie.  We ate fast food that was not fast but it was good.
