I can totally relate to this, and have had to bite my tongue or apologize profusely when I let such comments slip. I love kids, but never even thought once about the possibility of actually having/adopting one myself. As far as growing up? It's completely optional. You can be a really mature kid with a really big bank account. :D

Yay! I am not alone. Like you, the thought has never even entered my mind. I am happy for my friends who are parents, and I am sure if I had a child I would fall in love with it, but that really isn't a road I want to go down.
