I love cliff hangers...when I'm writing anyway. When I'm reading, I hate them! :D Well, Andy won't find out about those consequences for a while yet. Ever had that feeling that something strange/big is about to happen but not known what it was? That's what Andy's feeling at the moment.

I absolutely love this story! You've outlined such a great backstory for Andy and her failing marriage and new job offer etc. She is a very strong character and I can see her becoming quite the powerhouse in her new job. That should impress Miranda *smirk*

Now that she has decided to move back to New York I can't wait to see what will happen next :D

You and me both! It's like a recipe...
1. Add Andrea Clarke (Sachs) and Miranda Priestly into a mixing bowl
2. Blend in two failing marriages and an outrageously cute pair of twins
3. Sprinkle in New York City and Runway magazine
4. Watch it explode!

Yup, Andy going to be a powerhouse...but there's still the Andy we know inside. The one that's going to play absolute havoc with Andy's emotions before she finally decides what she wants. :)

You nearly gave me a heart attack when I read the first half of your first sentence. lol. I panicked and wondered how I'd managed to mess up by the second chapter! :D

Actually, I'd say it's a very good sign...it means things are going to get interesting. But I guess Andy probably would prefer (at this point anyway) not to have anything interesting happen, so you may have a point there. ;)

Hey, well when I write I can churn out chapters and chapters at a time. But on the flip side, I can lose interest in things too. I'm a perfectionist and if something doesn't turn out right, I have this irritating ability to simply forget it. Sigh. So, if I don't post for a couple of weeks, it might be an idea to smother me in emails till I post again. :D

Yeah, well, whether or not he's grown up, Greg is still a guy. And from my *very* limited experience with them, guys tend to be rather one-track minded. And I'm setting up a bunch of parallels in this chapter for later on.

Yeah, I thought the recipe was pretty cool too. If you look at Mirandy fics, they all have certain 'ingredients' that just seem to blend well. The irony, of course, being that I'm a terrible baker! :D
