10 years of LJ

The end of August means that this journal is now 10 years old. I still remember the night I decided to sign up and try this whole "blogging" thing. Newly married, living in my first apartment, my cat Nikita on my lap. A lot has changed over 10 years.

I, too, was just thinking yesterday how I've had my journal now for over ten years. I went back and read some of my old posts and I barely recognize the voice of that person now. It's interesting to me to see how I've grown and how I've remained. Plus, I amuse myself like no other.

I did the same thing with old posts. I'm glad to have this sort of record of my own silliness instead of just being all serious introspection.
