Kyaaaaa~!! I know this is supposed to be a GinHiji fic, but I couldn't help grinning ear-to-ear during the Yamazaki part. You did great at keeping everyone in-character.

I dunno, I think Yamazaki has some affection of sorts for his Vice Commander. Well, because he's a wishy-washy kinda guy, Gin-san will be the one to stake his claim first instead, too bad for Yama-chan.

Episode 109 showed us that Yamazaki can kick ass when he wants to. He can use his spy skills to sneak into Gin-san's house and smother him in his sleep. :P

Or even better, throw a big jealous fit in public and beat the crap outta him. *crickets chirp* ...Eh, I can dream, can't I? -__-;;

You're right, there are plenty of great GinHiji doujins, but not nearly enough fanfic! I really enjoyed reading this, I had a smile on my face the whole time, please keep on writing! I think you captured the characters particularly well (and Gintama characters have always seemed harder to write in my viewpoint).
