Hey there!

I read this on my e-reader, and I really, really liked this story! I mean, I never watched "Angel Eyes", so I can't say if the story is too close or anything, but nevertheless, it was damn well written and really interesting. Well-paced and with good characters in the background - even though of course they didn't get much screen-time ;-)

Well done, a big thumbs up from me !

awesome! I'm glad you liked it :) I followed the movie probably too closely. I had to change some obvious stuff, but I'm glad that it's a good read without having seen it before. I love making the J's the center of the story, they're so much fun to write.

thanks for reading!

This was a terrific read, heart warming and deeply emotional without being melodramatic. I really enjoyed the honest look at police work and the way the daily grind can really get to an officer, and the weird way the public responds including stupid groupie behavior. I also appreciated the domestic violence theme. It is amazing how many women stay regardless of how it damages the children. Loved the ending! I also enjoyed the fact that either you are a very careful writer or have a great beta. I was never thrown out of the story by typos, poor structure or grammar errors. Thank you.

I'm so glad that you liked it! I really loved writing the cop parts just because it was so different from what I usually write, not to mention the domestic violence stuff as well.

I noticed a few errors myself when I finally had a chance to go back and reread some of it, but that's great you weren't able to catch them! whew! betas for the win, lol :) typos make me cringe so hard

thank you so much for reading!
